TUITION FOR LESSONS:
Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year includes, depending on the day of your child's lesson, 32, 33, 34 or 35 weeks of instruction. It is recommended for tuition to be paid in monthly installments or equal semesters however weekly payment will be accepted as well.
*Please make every effort to be current with tuition payments at all times to avoid late fees.*
Statements will be emailed to parents during the last week of every month with a reminder of current tuition charges and materials fees. Students should plan to commit to lessons for the full school year. If unforeseen circumstances require a student to terminate lessons mid-year, a two-week notice is required to end lessons. Refunds will not be given should a student choose to terminate prior to the end of the month.
COSTS FOR MUSIC & MATERIALS:
As students progress...the need to upgrade to more advanced level-appropriate method books will be necessary. In addition to using a weekly method book, students will be given binders, theory sheets, exercise materials as well as downloaded sheet music to be used for our two scheduled piano recitals.
With the increasing popularity and cost of online digital sheet music, students will be charged for any specific music purchased online (specifically holiday and recital music) that I do not currently have on hand in my studio. Digial sheet music charges will be displayed on your monthly invoice.
For the 2020-2021 tuition rates, please refer to your Confirmation of Lesson Time letters that are sent out before the first fall lesson in September 2020.
Tuition rates can also be viewed on your monthly invoice.
If paying by the semester, tuition is due by the first week of lessons in September, January and April.
If paying by monthly installments, tuition is due at the first lesson in September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.
Flocktown Piano Studio accepts cash, checks (made payable to "Flocktown Piano Studio",) Paypal and Venmo (@Kristine-Murello) payments.
I will gladly reschedule a missed lesson only if your child's absence is due to illness, family trip scheduled in advance, or if on the rare occasion I, personally, would need to cancel due to illness. 24-hour notice is requested should your child need to cancel their lesson. Any weather-related lesson will be a Zoom virtual lesson for that week.
Refunds are not given for missed lessons.
Make-up lessons are not provided for no-show or no-call absences.
